Downtown Parking: Water and Duckworth Streets

Please be advised that due to record high snow accumulation the City of St. John's has revised onstreet parking access on Water Street and Duckworth Street. Parking Meters have been bagged as no parking zones to accommodate the flow of traffic and to assist with ongoing downtown snowclearing operations. Vehicles parked at bagged meters are subject to ticketing and/or towing at the owners expense.

Please note that snow removal in the downtown area will continue tonight, focusing on those areas which require snowclearing to allow for the safe movement of emergency and residential vehicles. For more information on which streets are affected please visit the City's website.

Motorists are reminded that any vehicle that impedes snow clearing or snow removal operations at any time, regardless of the winter parking restrictions in effect, may be subject to towing and impounding.
