Motorists and pedestrians are advised that New Gower Street eastbound will be closed between Barters Hill/Waldegrave Street and Queen Street from 6 a.m. Friday July 4, 2014 to midnight, Monday July 7 to facilitate removal of the tower crane from the St. John's Convention Centre site. Motorists should use an alternate route. Access for emergency vehicles will be maintained. The City of St. John’s apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may cause.
