Sanitary Sewer: Temporary Loss of Sanitary Sewer Service
Location: Topsail Road - Civic #’s 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 10, 12, & Civic #744 Water Street
Date: March 12, 2014
 
Please be advised that the sanitary sewer adjacent to your property from Civic #’s 2-12 Topsail Road and Civic #744 Water Street will be rehabilitated by lining the existing sanitary sewer pipe on the date indicated above.
At this time home owners are asked to not flush their toilets, do laundry, wash dishes, or otherwise discharge water into the sanitary sewer. This is critical to the success of the sewer liner installation.
 
Portable toilets will be provided at every second home as an emergency facility for residents to use if required.
 
This process will affect each homeowner for a period of 12 to 16 hours starting at 9:00 am and continue until completed. When the homeowner can re-use the sanitary sewer, they will be advised immediately. There will be personnel on site at all times to answer any questions from home owners.
