Motorists are advised the following temporary traffic and parking restrictions will be in effect in the City of St. John’s on Sunday Nov. 25, 2012 for the Downtown Christmas Parade (Alternate date: Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012)

Water Street west to Job Street

Road Closures
Duckworth Street - Temperance Street to Church Hill - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Water Street - Prescott Street to Patrick Street - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Empire Avenue - Forest Road to Quidi Vidi Road - 9 a.m. to 2: p.m.
Factory Lane - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Forest Road - Kings Bridge Road to Empire Avenue - 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cavendish Square/Ordnance Street -10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Cochrane Street – Duckworth Street to Water Street -11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Prescott Street - Gower Street to Water Street -11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Clifts/Bairds Cove - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
McBrides Hill - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Ayres Cove - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Becks Cove - 9 a.m. to 3p.m.
Bishops Cove - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Queen Street - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Adelaide Street - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
George Street - 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Waldegrave Street - 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

No Parking- Tow Away - Will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Factory Lane - both sides
Plymouth Road - both sides
Duckworth Street - both sides Cavendish Square to Prescott Street
Prescott Street - both sides Gower Street to Water Street
Water Street - both sides Prescott Street to Prescott Street
Circular Road – north side Monkstown Road to Kings Bridge Road/Empire Avenue

Bannerman Road – Designated Buses Only
Any vehicles parked in these areas or anywhere else that obstructs a roadway or driveway WILL BE TOWED at the owner’s expense.

Park and Ride Shuttle Service
The park and ride shuttle service will be available starting at 10:30 a.m. from the Confederation Building to Bannerman Road and from the Nalcor (Hydro) Building to the Mile One Centre. Viewing Area and Parking For Persons With Impaired Mobility Permits
