Water Street Exploratory Work

Motorists, residents, and businesses are advised that Water Street between Ayre's Cove and Clift's - Baird's Cove will be closed daily from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. for approximately two days starting Wednesday, July 29, 2015. All vehicular traffic will be detoured via Harbour Drive except emergency vehicles and Metrobus.

A 'No Parking - Tow Away' restriction will be in effect in the area. Bags will be placed over the affected parking meters earlier in the day to advise motorists of the overnight restriction. Vehicles parked in violation of the overnight restriction will be ticketed and/or towed.

The work on this section is expected to take one week. The road closure and parking restrictions are necessary to facilitate this work, and the City apologizes for any inconvenience they may cause. For further information, please contact Access St. John’s at 311 or 709-754-CITY (2489).
