Water Street Exploratory Work July 26 to 31

Motorists, residents, and businesses are advised that Water Street between Adelaide Street and Beck's Cove will be closed daily from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. for approximately one week starting Sunday, July 26. All vehicular traffic will be detoured via Harbour Drive except emergency vehicles and Metrobus.

A 'No Parking - Tow Away' restriction will be in effect in the area. Some parking spaces on Adelaide Street and Beck's Cove will be included in this restriction. Bags will be placed over the affected parking meters earlier in the day to advise motorists of the overnight restriction. Vehicles parked in violation of the overnight restriction will be ticketed and/or towed.

The work on this section is expected to take one week. The road closure and parking restrictions are necessary to facilitate this work, and the City apologizes for any inconvenience they may cause.
