Apply for Heritage Grants Until May 1

If you own a Heritage property you can apply for maintenance or conservation grants through the Heritage Financial Incentives Program. Applications are being accepted until May 1, 2022.

To qualify, you must own a designated Heritage Building or a house or commercial property in a Heritage Area.

Two types of grants are available:

• Heritage Maintenance Grant - up to 25 per cent of material and labour costs to a maximum of $1,000 for maintenance and repair to façade elements bordering a public street.
• Heritage Conservation Grant - up to 25 per cent of material and labour costs to a maximum of $5,000 for the preservation, restoration and/or replacement of façade elements bordering a public street.
