Book an Appointment: Bulk and Metal Collection

Residents of St. John's can now book a free curbside collection of bulk and metal waste.

Collection is scheduled by waste area:
Area 1: May 17-21
Area 2: May 25-29
Area 3: May 31-June 4
Area 4: June 7-11
Area 5: June 14-18

Before you book an appointment be sure what you have is bulk waste:

• Maximum size of 1.5 m x 1.5 m x 2.15 m (5 ft x 5 ft x 7 ft)
• Weighs less than 68 kgs (150 lbs)
• Does not fit inside the garbage carts for automated collection

Book your bulk and metal collection for the same day and mark the confirmed appointment date in your calendar. Ensure your items are at the curb and ready for pick up by 8 a.m. on the assigned date.

Bulk and metal waste can be brought year-round to the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility at 340 East White Hills Road.
