Book an Appointment for Bulk & Metal Collection

On Monday, July 6 the City of St. John’s begins collecting bulk garbage and metal curbside, for pre-arranged appointments. Residents can book an appointment beginning Monday, June 15.

Bulk and metal collection is a free, by-appointment service that is collected by Area:
Area 1: July 6-10
Area 2: July 13-17
Area 3: July 20-24
Area 4: July 27-31
Area 5: August 3-7

Before you book an appointment be sure what you have is considered oversized waste:

• Maximum size of 1.5 m x 1.5 m x 2.15 m (5 ft x 5 ft x 7 ft)
• Weighs less than 68 kgs (150 lbs)
• Does not fit inside the garbage carts for automated collection

• Use the app ‘St. John’s Waste and Recycling’
• Call Access St. John’s at 311 or 754-CITY (2489) 

Please book your bulk and metal for the same day and mark the confirmed appointment date in your calendar. Ensure that your items are at the curb and ready for pick up by 8 a.m. on the assigned date.
