Join the City of St. John’s as we celebrate our community and culture on Canada Day.

On July 1, come to Quidi Vidi for a live concert at the bandstand at 8 p.m. featuring Arthur O’Brien and Fred Jorgensen of The Navigators.

After the concert, enjoy the fireworks display over the Quidi Vidi lake at 10 p.m.

Accessible parking spaces and GoBus drop-off and pick-up will be available at the Dominion parking lot (20 Lake Avenue). The GoBus must be booked in advance.

The concert at the Quidi Vidi Bandstand is accessible by using the major pressed gravel path around Quidi Vidi Lake. Gender neutral, family, accessible washrooms will be available on site for all events.

Should weather conditions not be ideal, the fireworks will be rescheduled for July 2 at 10 p.m. Pet owners are reminded to keep their pets inside during the fireworks display.
