Celebrate National Volunteer Week

Friday, April 16, 2021 - 8:15 AM

The City of St. John’s Celebrates National Volunteer Week from April 18 to 24, 2021.

The theme for Volunteer Week 2021 is The Value of One, The Power of Many.

The City of St. John’s would like to acknowledge its hundreds of volunteers, working in a variety of roles.

Volunteers throughout the community make an enormous impact on the quality of life for residents in St. John’s. The City of St. John’s relies on many volunteer roles including those who serve on committees and working groups,
participate in our programming and go the extra mile to serve others in the community.

Although we cannot hold our usual volunteer celebrations this year, the City wants all volunteers to know their value to our community.

Residents are encouraged to share stories of how a volunteer has impacted your community - use hashtags #VolunteersBringChange #NVW2021 on social media.

The City will be highlighting volunteers on social media throughout the week – follow our new Facebook page ‘Connect St. John’s’ or check it out on Twitter.
