Christmas and New Year Holiday City Schedule

Due to the upcoming holidays all City offices and facilities are closed;

• Noon on Friday, Dec. 23, re-opening Wednesday, Dec. 28
• Noon on Friday, Dec. 30, re-opening Tuesday, Jan. 3

Please note the following exceptions:

• The Access Call Centre is always available to residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week; however front counter service is unavailable during times noted above.
• Parking meters are not enforced on Monday, Dec 26.
• The Robin Hood Bay Regional Waste Management Facility closes noon Saturday, Dec. 24 and re-opens Tuesday, Dec. 27. On Saturday, Dec. 31 it closes at noon and re-opens on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
• The Quidi Vidi Village Plantation is closed from Saturday, Dec.24 and re-opens Thursday, Jan. 5

Recreation Facilities
The H.G.R. Mews Community Centre closes noon, Saturday, Dec. 24 and re-opens Tuesday, Dec. 27. The Centre closes at noon Saturday, Dec. 31 and re-opens Monday, Jan. 2.

The following recreation facilities are closed from noon Friday, Dec. 23 and re-open Tuesday, Jan.3:

• Recreation Division offices, Crosbie Road
• Kilbride Lions Community Centre
• Southlands Community Centre
• Shea Heights Community Centre 

Waste Collection
The waste collection schedule moves to the next day for all residents during the holidays and returns to the regular fixed day collection on Monday, Jan. 9:

Christmas Tree drop off of real, undecorated and unbundled trees takes place:

• Quidi Vidi Lake, large gravel parking lot off The Boulevard - Friday, Dec. 30 to Sunday, Jan. 15
• Robin Hood Bay Residential Drop-Off, 340 East White Hills Road - Tuesday to Saturday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., from Dec. 27 to Jan. 14 (closes noon Dec.31)

The next City Council meeting takes place 4:30 p.m., Monday, Jan. 9.
