City Appoints Senior Staff

Mayor Dennis O’Keefe is pleased to announce the following senior staff appointments:

• City Manager, Neil Martin (former Deputy City Manager, Corporate Services and City Clerk)
• Deputy City Manager, Corporate Services, Kevin Breen (former Director, Human Resources)
• City Clerk, Elaine Henley (former Manager, Legislative Services) 

“We are very pleased to make this announcement and I am confident that the experience and skill these long-time employees bring to these new roles will be an asset to our organization,” says Mayor Dennis O’Keefe. “I look forward to working with our entire executive team and our dedicated 1,200 employees to continue the positive steps forward we have made in recent years.”
 
The City Manager is the administrative head of the City and will lead its staff of 1,200 employees in carrying out the mandate and directives as determined by council. In the past year the City has completed a reorganization of City departments to focus on long-term strategic planning to meet changing customer service expectations and improve service delivery.
 
These staffing changes are effective June 1, 2014.
