City Seeking Nominations for Senior of the Year Award

The City of St. John's is seeking nominations for the annual Senior of the Year Award, which will be presented on June 8, during the City Council meeting.
 
The award will recognize a senior who has made significant volunteer contributions in the City. It can be through service to the community, or by improving the quality of life of citizens through community involvement, including but not limited to, music, sport, recreation, art or other. The Senior of the Year award is sponsored by Kenny’s Pond Retirement Living.
 
Individuals are encouraged to submit nominations to the City for consideration, should they know of a senior (age 60+) who deserves to be recognized for their dedication to the community.

Nominations close at 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 14.
