City to Table Budget 2017 Guideline Document

On Monday during the City Council meeting Councillor Jonathan Galgay, Chair of the Finance and Administration Standing Committee will bring forward a comprehensive approach for building Budget 2017, outlining a series of priority target areas.

“We have committed to starting our budget process earlier in the year – including regular updates and sharing our targets with the public,” said Councillor Jonathan Galgay. “On Monday I will present a comprehensive plan to Council to begin this process.”

The targets will reflect Council's objectives with respect to mill rate reductions, expenditure and staffing controls, and enhanced capital expenditures. Further details will be made available during Monday’s City Council meeting.
