Community Clean Up

Thank you to Clean St. John’s, city residents, staff, members of council and the provincial Department of Transportation and Infrastructure for doing your part to pick up litter and help to clean up the city. Below are images of community cleanup events that have been taking place throughout the month of May. Congratulations to everyone involved in a community clean up event!

Outer Ring Road Clean up

The provincial government department of Transportation and Infrastructure NL organized a cleanup on the Outer Ring Road from Kenmount Road to the Logy Bay Road, on Sunday, May 15.

Neighbourhood Clean ups


Families gathered to clean up garbage in Kilbride including Wildrose subdivision, Old Bay Bulls Road, Chafe’s Lane, Kilbride Brook, Chafe’s Lane Park and surrounding areas. In total, they collected more than 40 bags of garbage. Garbage pick-up was arranged by Clean St. John’s.
