On October 17, the final cruise ship scheduled for the 2014 season will be making a stop in the Port of St. John’s.

Details: The Legend of the Seas is a 10-night Canada Cruise from Quebec City. This is the last cruise ship visit scheduled for 2014.
 
The Legend of the Seas will arrive in the Port of St. John’s tomorrow at 6:30 a.m., weather permitting.
 
Ship arrivals and departures are subject to various conditions, including weather and ships’ schedules. To date, four cruise ships (carrying 5,100 passengers) have cancelled visits to St. John’s, due to marine conditions in the North Atlantic.

The public is reminded that during cruise ship visits, parking along Harbour Drive is reduced to accommodate tour buses escorting passengers on excursions. Meters will be bagged in advance of the ship’s arrival to ensure that tour buses and coaches have access to dockside.
 
The City of St. John’s thanks those who work in and visit the downtown area for their understanding. Metered parking is available on adjacent streets, in Atlantic Place Parking Garage, 351 Water Street and in other lots throughout the downtown.
