Deadline Extended: Bannerman Park Canteen Lease Opportunity

The City of St. John’s has issued an extension for the Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking a tenant for food/beverage service at the Bannerman Park Canteen, formerly operated by Beavertails.

Interested parties can view the RFP materials through the City’s online e-bids system.

This RFP was first announced in December. The deadline is extended to February 26 to allow more time for interested business owners to consider this lease opportunity.

Scope of Work
Ready-made/prepackaged foods are permitted to be served. Should the proponent wish to prepare/cook food on site, they will be responsible for all costs associated with any improvements or equipment needed, and operations must meet all City and Provincial food and safety requirements.
