Discovery Day Holiday City Schedule

Due to the Discovery Day holiday on Monday, June 27, most City offices and facilities will be closed. The City Council meeting regularly scheduled for Monday will take place on Tuesday, June 28 at 4:30 p.m.
 
Please note the following exceptions:

• Garbage and recycling collection is unaffected by the holiday. As per the regular schedule garbage and recycling will be collected on Monday.
• The Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility is open for commercial users only from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• The Visitor Information Centre at 348 Water Street is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• All recreation facilities will be open with the exception of the St. John's Recreation Centre.
• The Bannerman Park Pool is closed with a scheduled opening of July 2.
• Parking meter regulations will be enforced, as Monday is not a shops closing holiday.

Access St. John’s front counter service will not be available however the Call Centre is accessible to residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by calling 311 or 709-754-CITY (2489) or online at www.stjohns.ca/access-311.
