​Downtown Holiday Shop & Stroll Entertainment Guide

Enjoy free performances by musical entertainers, carolers, and some extra special guests that will put you in the holiday spirit at the first Downtown Holiday Shop & Stroll. This event is happening on Saturdays 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. from Nov. 27 to Dec. 11. 

Event is weather dependent.

Entertainment Schedule
Every Saturday there will be three musical performers that will provide entertainment as well as holiday special guests roaming the streets. Checkout the schedule below.

Saturday, Nov. 27
Downtown St. John’s
12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Jenna Maloney
Come see Jenna Maloney, an 18-year-old singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who will perform a selection of holiday music.

The Boogie Babes
Lesley Dove Smith, Claire Hewlett, and Jody Lear will be sure to make you smile singing in three-part harmony to some of your holiday favorites.

Quintessential Vocal Ensemble 
Join us to hear holiday classics from the award winning Quintessential Vocal Ensemble (QVE). This will be a festive way to ring in the holiday cheer.

Raiders of Avalon (Pirates)
On the hunt for treasure, pirates will roam the downtown this Saturday (Nov. 27) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 4

Downtown St. John’s
12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Conway
Conway are a musical family duo consisting of teenagers Emily and Thomas Conway. This duo will put on a magical holiday show for everyone by playing violin and guitar as well as singing.

Lady Cove Women’s Choir
Lady Cove Women’s Choir was named after the remote community of Lady Cove on Newfoundland’s rugged yet beautiful east coast. All women choir will sing a variety of musical genres including gospel and classical music, that is sure to be an entertaining holiday musical show.

Quintessential Vocal Ensemble

The Newfoundland & Labrador Band Assoication
The Newfoundland & Labrador Band Assoication will be downtown this saturday ready to perform live with holiday tuba music.

Santa Claus
Santa Claus will be walking around downtown Saturday, Dec. 4, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Mummers
Mummers will roam the downtown Saturday, Dec. 4, from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Jason March
Jason March is a talented instrumentalist on guitar, mandolin, accordion, fiddle, banjo and the bodhran that will perform an entertaining holiday musical show.

Anchormen Barbershop Chorus
The Anchormen Barbershop Chorus is the St. John's chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society spreading holiday cheer around the community.

Mummers 
Mummers will roam the downtown this Saturday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m.
