There's lots happening downtown this weekend - from Music @ Harbourside concerts to activities and entertainment at the Downtown Pedestrian Mall and even a pop-up vaccination clinic from Eastern Health!

Events may be cancelled or postponed due to inclement weather.

Saturday, Aug. 14 

JellyBean Entertainment
noon to 4 p.m.
A balloon twister will be visiting throughout the Downtown Pedestrian Mall to make giraffes, flowers and lots of other fantastic creations for the young at heart!

Canadian Mental Health Association of NL
noon to 4 p.m.
Water Street, in front of RBC
CMHANL will have a tumble prize! Walk up, ask for a spin, and get a self-care tip and a button! Visitors are also invited take a picture with the CMHANL sign and post to social media, and to learn more about CMHANL activities and programs.

CONWAY

Duckworth Street, near New Gower Street
Enjoy a musical performance from CONWAY, a Contemporary Celtic group who range in age from 14 to 17 and have been performing and touring Atlantic Canada together for the past 5 years.

St. Pat's Dancers
2 p.m.
Water Street, near RBC
The St Pat’s Dancers are Irish tap dancers and are the longest standing dancing troupe in Atlantic Canada and in 2019 received The Legend award from the City of St. John's for their contribution to the growth of tourism in the province.

Old School Intergenerational Projects

Kick it ‘Old School’ with a local non-profit that seeks to connect generations through the arts! Old School Intergenerational Projects invites you to challenge your family or bubble to a giant ‘then and now’ memory matching game, or to design your own postcard using recycled materials.
