Focus On Seniors: A Community Event

The City of St. John’s invites seniors to participate in a community forum entitled, Focus on Seniors. 
 
The forum will be held on Friday, November 7, 2014, at St. John’s City Hall (Foran/Greene Room, 4th Floor), from 9:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
 
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet City staff and Councillors, hear about programs, services, and strategies happening within the City, and provide their input on issues that are important to them. Highlights of this seniors’ forum include conversations with city staff around topics such as housing, transportation, taxes & finances, neighbourhoods and open spaces, as well as communications.
 
Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided. Note: Transportation may be available on a limited basis for those individuals with no other transportation options. Seniors with transportation issues should mention this when registering.
