Garbage Must be Covered Beginning April 1

Beginning on April 1 and continuing until November 30, garbage put out at the curb for collection must be completely covered. Acceptable covers include metal or plastic containers with a lid, a net, or a blanket.
 
Garbage is not permitted at the curb before 6 a.m. on your scheduled collection day.
 
This measure is in place to reduce the amount of litter on streets, parks and open spaces.
Do your part to reduce litter and keep your neighbourhood clean.
