Good Friday and St. George's Day Holiday City Schedule

Due to the Good Friday holiday on Friday, April 19 all City offices and facilities will be closed. 

Please note:

• Garbage (5A/5B) and recycling collection (5B) is moved to Saturday, April 20.
• Parking meter regulations will not be enforced.
• The pool at Paul Reynolds Community Centre will close at 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 18 for cleaning and maintenance, and will re-open Saturday, April 20. We expect the pool water temperature to be cooler than normal the day it reopens.
• On Easter Sunday, April 21 the H.G.R. Mews Community Centre is closed. 

Due to St. George’s Day holiday on Monday, April 22, most City offices and facilities will be closed. The City Council meeting regularly scheduled for Monday will take place on Tuesday, April 23 at 4:30 p.m.

Exceptions on Monday include:

• Garbage (1A/1B) and recycling (1A) is unaffected and will be collected on Monday. Robin Hood Bay is open to commercial users only.
• Parking meter regulations will be enforced as it is not a Shops Closing holiday.
• All recreation facilities will be open. 

Washroom facilities will be open at Bowring Park, Bannerman Park and Quidi Vidi Boathouse Friday through Monday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some washrooms may open earlier and close later than times noted.
