Information Session for Landlords

The City of St. John’s Rental Team, a sub-committee of the Affordable Housing Working Group, are hosting an information session for landlords. Janet Meaney will present information about the Front Step program, a Housing First program of Stella’s Circle, Choices for Youth and End Homelessness St. John’s. Michelle Marley will provide information on Newfoundland Power's takeCHARGE residential rebates and programs.
 
This free session is scheduled for Wednesday, March 29 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at the Newfoundland & Labrador Housing & Homelessness Network in Pleasantville.
 
The role of the City’s Rental Team is to engage landlords, tenants, community and industry to address issues that impact the quality, availability and affordability of rental housing in St. John’s. The Rental Team is working to cultivate a base of landlords willing to rent to those seeking affordable housing, including those who may require supports.
