June Holiday City Schedule and National Indigenous Peoples Day

Due to the June Holiday on Monday, June 21, most City offices and facilities will be closed. The weekly City Council meeting will take place on Tuesday, June 22 at 3 p.m.
 
Please note the following:

  • Garbage and recycling will be collected on Monday.
  • The Robin Hood Bay Waste Management facility is open for commercial users only from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
  • Paid parking regulations will be enforced, as Monday is not a Shops Closing Holiday.
  • Public washrooms will be open at Bannerman Park, Bowring Park and Quidi Vidi Lake.
  • All recreation facilities will be closed.

Access St. John’s is available to residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week by calling 311 or 709-754-CITY (2489) or online.
 
National Indigenous Peoples Day
 
On Monday, June 21, City residents are encouraged to recognize National Indigenous Peoples Day. Resources are available online at: firstlightnl.ca/NIPD/
