Kenmount Road Asphalt Paving Starts Next Week

Work for the final layer of surface course asphalt paving along Kenmount Road from Pippy Place to the Team Gushue Highway Overpass is set to begin the week of June 20, 2022. The surface course asphalt and final pavement markings are anticipated to be completed by July 25, 2022. Weirs Construction Limited is completing the work on behalf of City of St. John’s.

Hours of work are Monday to Saturday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Traffic on Kenmount Road will be maintained with some short term and sporadic lane reductions anticipated to occur between June 20 and July 25; disruptions and slowdowns are expected. Pedestrian access will be maintained. We ask that the public follow all posted signage and flag persons stationed in and near the work zone.
