Mask Mandate and City Facilities

While the provincial mandate of wearing non-medical masks at indoor public facilities is lifted, physical distancing of 2 metres (6 feet) remains a requirement.
 
At this time, the City of St. John's continues to require masks be worn by staff, and encourages the public to also wear masks, at all indoor City facilities.
 
The City follows the guidance of the Chief Medical Officer of Health and will continue to monitor and review recommendations from Public Health.
