New Deadline for Award Nominations

The City of St. John’s has extended the deadlines for four of its award programs to May 1, 2020. Nominations for each of these awards may be submitted online.

Being a healthy community takes hard work, dedication and commitment to making St. John’s the kind of place where we people want to live, work and visit.

Do you know someone who gives without condition? Who volunteers countless hours to their cause? Or a community group that is making a difference each and every day? Do you know a group or individual that is instrumental in creating our reputation as being one of the best places to visit in the world?

Nominations are now open for the following awards:

• Building Health Communities Volunteer Awards (adult, youth and group)
• Senior of the Year
• Youth of the Year
• Tourism Awards 

It’s hard to stay positive when we are disconnected from one another. But what better time than now to concentrate on all the good that happens in our community! Tell us about what makes these people and groups so great. We’re all in this together, even if right now we have to be apart.
