New Road Alignment - Linscott Street

Linscott Street has changed to one-way traffic from Freshwater Road to Pennywell Road.

Due to the alignment of the intersection at Freshwater Road and Linscott Street, there was very poor visibility for motor vehicles travelling northbound on Linscott Street, once they reached Freshwater Road. The intersection layout and the resulting poor visibility contributed to this intersection experiencing a high collision rate.

This change came in effect on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 2015 and is permanent. Motorists can no longer enter Linscott Street from Pennywell Road. Signs have been installed indicating the one-way restriction.
