New Update on City Services for February 9 as of 6 p.m.
Based on the new guidelines announced today by Public Health officials, the City of St. John’s is closing its swimming pools until further notice.
Indoor walking programs and all group rentals are cancelled effective immediately.
As announced this morning, adult, senior, youth and children’s recreation programs are also cancelled. Preschool programs are now also cancelled; however afterschool programs will go ahead.
The Pippy Park Outdoor Winter Activity Centre and the Loop will remain open.
City Hall
The Access Centre at City Hall will remain open.
Due to the current COVID-19 health guidelines and enhanced special measures, the public are asked to consider using our online, application, or telephone options instead of visiting City Hall for Access St. John’s services.
