Please note that effective Friday, October 22, 2021, anyone aged 19 and over will be required to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination and identification upon entry in any City of St. John’s Recreation Facility or program.

Staff will scan the QR code on the NLVaxPass or review the printed proof of vaccination.  In both cases proof of ID with a photo must be given.

Proof of vaccination will be required for every entry to one of our facilities, not just the first visit. The public are reminded that mask are required when visiting City facilities and social distrancing measures are still in place.

Children and youth up to and including 18 years of age are not required to show proof when participating in Recreation programs and activities.

Individuals who are 19 years of age or older that do not have photo identification can present two pieces of non-photo identification that includes their name; and at least one of these alternate identifications must have date of birth. The original document or a clear photocopy, photo or screenshot of the identification will be accepted.
