Pre-Budget Consultation Registration Opens October 29

The City will hold two pre-budget consultation sessions this year.

The first session will take place on Thursday, Nov. 8 from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. These sessions are open to the public, however organizations or individuals interested in making a presentation must register in advance by E-mail: budget@stjohns.ca or phone (709) 576-8229 or (709) 576-8429.

The second consultation session is a Budget Forum, which will be conducted by an independent facilitator, on Nov. 17 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. This session will allow participants to discuss issues related to municipal finance in a round-table format. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis starting Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at 9 a.m. until Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012 ending at 4:30 p.m. as space for these events is limited.
