Public Engagement for FWW Legacy Project

Last year, Council approved a framework for its First World War Commemorative Program. A Legacy Project is one component of this plan. An Advisory Committee was put in place to guide the engagement process and evaluate concepts to assist Council with their final decision.

As part of this process the City will be hosting an interactive workshop to gather ideas from the public and help shape this initiative.

When: Wednesday, April 1, 7 p.m. – 9 p.m.
Where: Foran Greene Room, 4th Floor, City Hall
            Parking available in the City Hall Parking Garage

The session is open to anyone with an interest in and knowledge of this area, and anyone with ties to those who served or played a role on the home front.

Individuals who cannot attend the entire session are welcome to stop by and post an idea on the Commemoration Idea Board. Questions, comments and suggestions are also welcome via email at engage@stjohns.ca.
