Lester’s Farm is holding its annual Pumpkinfest in support of the Recreation Experiences and Leisure Program (R.E.A.L.) program on Saturday Oct.17, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $15 per family (up to 5 members) or $3 per child and $5 per adult.

For safety reasons parking is prohibited on Brookfield Road, Pearltown Road and Conpro Street.  Attendees are encouraged to use the Metrobus Park and Ride – your kids will love it! Buses will depart regularly from the N.L. Housing parking lot located at 2 Canada Drive, St. John’s.

Pumpkinfest is a fun filled day for all ages with performances, contests, games, prizes, face painting, tractor rides and of course, pumpkins!

Funds raised during the annual Pumpkinfest event make a big difference to the R.E.A.L. program which provides opportunities to children and youth in financial need, by matching them with organized activities of their choice. The program is confidential and covers registration fees, transportation, and equipment costs.

The R.E.A.L program is a non-profit entity and the City of St. John’s provides all staffing and administrative costs so that 100% of funds go directly to placing kids in the activity of their choice.
