Neighbourhood Watch
Did you know that Neighbourhood Watch has been a part of Pumpkin Walk from the very start? It actually began as a Neighbourhood Watch event!

Thousands of the pumpkins are purchased and carved by the residents of St. John’s to greet trick-or-treaters on Halloween. Unfortunately, many of these pumpkins are the target of vandalism. By bringing your pumpkin to Bannerman Park for Pumpkin Walk, the opportunity for these crimes is greatly reduced.

Email neighbourhoodservices@stjohns.ca to join or build a Neighbourhood Watch group in your neighbourhood.

Pumpkins will be Composted

From 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on November 1 you can drop off your pumpkin at Bannerman Park in advance of the main event. All pumpkins will be composted at Robin Hood Bay Regional Waste Management facility following the event.

COVID-19 Guidelines
All COVID-19 guidelines will be in place, including social distancing, hand sanitizing stations. Face masks are required unless actively eating or drinking. Vaccine passports are not required to attend this outdoor event.
