Pumpkin Walk at Bannerman Park

UPDATE:  Due to the weather, the Pumpkin Walk at Bannerman Park, originally scheduled for Monday, Nov. 1, is postponed. The event will take place tomorrow, Tuesday, Nov. 2, from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Residents are welcome to drop off their Pumpkins at The Loop, Bannerman Park today (Nov. 1) and tomorrow (Nov. 2). Security will be on site.

Residents of St. John’s are invited to display your Jack O’ Lantern (pumpkin) at Bannerman Park and participate in the Pumpkin Walk - a magnificent Halloween themed event that includes music and pop-up performances. A light source will be provided for your pumpkin.

All COVID-19 guidelines will be in place, including social distancing, and hand sanitizing stations. Face masks are required unless actively eating or drinking. Vaccine passports are not required to attend this outdoor event.

The Snack Shack will be open, with food and beverage available for purchase during the event.

Accessible Parking
Twenty accessible parking spaces will be available in the main parking lot off Bannerman Road during the event. For details on accessibility features, visit the event description on the city’s website.

Pumpkin Drop-Off
From 8 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. on November 1, you can drop off your pumpkin at Bannerman Park in advance. Following the event, all Pumpkins will be composted at Robin Hood Bay Regional Waste Management facility.
