Recreation Update as Restrictions are Lifted

Monday, March 28, 2022 - 8:30 AM

In response to the Department of Public Health lifting long term health restrictions, City recreation facilities are returning to full capacity.
It is important for patrons to note that masks and social distancing are strongly encouraged but will no longer be mandatory in our facilities.

Changes for Drop-in Swims
Starting on Sun. April 3, pre-registration will no longer be required for all public swimming.

Transition to Electronic Passes
Starting on May 1, punch passes are being discontinued as we transition to electronic passes for swimming, fitness, and racquetball. Electronic passes will be available for purchase starting May 1.

Customers who have City issued punch passes may submit the original pass with a request for credit form to the front desk at Paul Reynolds Community Centre or H.G.R. Mews Community Centre. Credits will be issued up until Dec. 31, 2022.

Drop-in for Dryland Fitness Classes to Resume
Fitness registration is complete for the Spring session. With the exception of Yoga, fitness classes will return to drop-in only effective Sun. July 2.
