The City of St. John’s offers curbside recycling collection every second week.

On your recycling days you can put out as many blue bags of recycling as you need – there is no limit. Recycling must be in see-through blue bags only; cardboard can be bagged or bundled.

Much of your household waste is recyclable – it’s not just pop cans and other deposit-return bottles!

From aluminum pie plates & trays, to margarine, yogurt and sour cream tubs, all those ‘tin’ or steel cans of soup, tuna & beans all the way to bottles that all-purpose cleaner, laundry detergent, even your shampoo & conditioner bottles are all recyclable at the curb.

Learn more items at CurbItStJohns.ca and while there sign up for notifications of your recycling day so you never miss a pick up. Watch more recycling videos on our Recycling 101 YouTube Playlist.
