Regatta Day Holiday City Schedule

The Royal St. John’s Regatta is set to occur on Wednesday, August 3. If the weather is not suitable on that date and the Regatta Committee postpones the event, the following list pertains to whichever day the Royal St. John’s Regatta occurs.

Residents are advised that due to the Royal St. John’s Regatta holiday all City offices are closed.
Please note the following:

• Garbage and recycling collection will continue as normal and are not affected by the holiday.
• The Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility is open as normal for commercial users from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and residential users from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
• The Visitor Information Centre at 348 Water Street will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• The swimming pool at Bannerman Park will be closed, however the splash pads at both Bannerman Park and Bowring Park will be open from 9 a.m. to dusk.
• Parking meter regulations will not be enforced on Regatta Day.
