Remembrance Day Holiday City Schedule

Due to the Remembrance Day holiday on Wednesday, Nov. 11, all City offices and facilities including Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility will be closed.
Please note the following:
- Parking meter regulations will not be enforced on Wednesday, Nov. 11.
- Access front counter service at City Hall will be unavailable on Wednesday.
- There is no waste collection on Remembrance Day holiday. Garbage, recycling and leaf collection occurs the day after regular pick up day for some areas– including a Saturday pick up for Area 5. Waste collection returns to the normal fixed schedule the week after, beginning Monday, Nov. 16. Please see details below:
- Wednesday, Nov. 11: no collection
- Thursday, Nov. 12: Garbage Areas 3A/B, Recycling Area 3A
- Friday, Nov. 13: Garbage Areas 4A/B, Recycling Area 4A
- Saturday, Nov. 14: Garbage Area 5A/B, Recycling Area 5A
Remembrance Day Ceremony
The Royal Canadian Legion Newfoundland and Labrador Remembrance Day Ceremony will take place at the National War Memorial at 10:45 a.m. For more information about the ceremony please contact Provincial Command 753-6666.
