Rennie's River East Traffic Pattern Review

Friday, April 20, 2018 - 12:45 PM

The City is currently reviewing existing traffic circulation and restrictions in the area of Rennie’s River between Portugal Cove Road and King’s Bridge Road to determine if changes can be made to improve road network connectivity. This includes a review of the recently implemented Winter Avenue ‘No Entry’ restriction and other nearby restrictions.

An important part of the process is getting feedback from residents that live in and travel through the area.

Online Engagement
The City’s Transportation Engineering division have studied the area and prepared a map outlining potential changes to existing conditions. Residents are encouraged to review the map of existing conditions and preliminary ideas for potential changes. The project description, map, and survey to collect public feedback are available on the project page at engagestjohns.ca, see ‘Rennie's River East Traffic Pattern Review’. Survey responses, comments and suggestions will be used to determine the next steps and recommendations for possible changes in this area.

Drop-in Sessions
For residents who wish to learn more about the traffic pattern review in person there are two drop-in sessions scheduled at the Bannerman Park Pool House:

Wednesday, May 2 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Thursday, May 3 from 1 to 3 p.m.
