Repairs to City Hall Annex

The general public are advised that the John J. Murphy building, also known as City of St. John’s Annex, located across from City Hall will be undergoing building envelope improvements beginning Monday, March 28.

The renovations include upgrade of existing roof structure, replacing the building envelope, and repairs to the pedway connecting the Annex to City Hall. Please note that work on the pedway may require short term lane closures on New Gower Street. Public notifications will be provided in advance of the work taking place.

In order to facilitate the work scaffolding will be in place surrounding the building. Pedestrian access will be maintained during the project which is estimated to last approximately 12 months.
The Public are asked to use caution when visiting the facility and area.
