St. George's Day Holiday City Schedule

Due to the St. George’s Day holiday on Monday, April 25, most City offices and facilities will be closed. This includes Access St. John’s front counter service, the Animal Care and Adoption Centre, and the Business Information Centre.

The City Council meeting regularly scheduled for Monday will take place on Tuesday, April 26 at 4:30 p.m.

Please note the exceptions:

• Garbage and recycling collection is unaffected by the holiday. Garbage (1A/1B) and recycling (1A) will be collected on Monday.
• The Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility is open for commercial users only from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Parking meter regulations will be enforced as Monday is not a shops closing holiday.
• Recreation facilities are open however Shea Heights, Southlands and Kilbride Lions Community Centres are open only during the hours of scheduled programs and Buckmasters Circle Community Centre is closed.
• Washroom facilities will be open at Bowring Park, Bannerman Park and Quidi Vidi Boathouse.
