St. George's Day Holiday City Schedule

Due to St. George’s Day holiday on Monday, April 24, most City offices and facilities will be closed. This includes Access St. John’s front counter service, the Animal Care and Adoption Centre, and the Business Information Centre.

The City Council meeting regularly scheduled for Monday will take place on Tuesday, April 25 at 4:30 p.m.

Please note the exceptions:

• Garbage and recycling collection is unaffected by the holiday. Garbage (1A/1B) and recycling (1A) will be collected on Monday.
• The Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility is open for commercial users only from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Parking meter regulations will be enforced because Monday is not a shops closing holiday.
• All recreation facilities are open on Monday.
• Washroom facilities will be open at Bowring Park, Bannerman Park and Quidi Vidi Boathouse.
