St. George's Day Holiday Closures

Due to the St. George’s Day holiday on Monday, April 20, most City offices and facilities will be closed. This includes Access St. John’s front counter service, the Animal Care and Adoption Centre, and the Visitor and Business Information Centre.
 
The City Council meeting regularly scheduled for Mondays will take place on Tuesday, April 21 at 4:30 p.m.
 
Please note the exceptions:

• Garbage and recycling collection is unaffected by the holiday. Garbage (1A/1B) and recycling (1B) will be collected on Monday.
• The Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility is open for commercial users only from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• Parking meter regulations will be enforced.
• Recreation facilities are open however Shea Heights, Southlands and Kilbride Lions Community Centres are open only during the hours of scheduled programs.
• The Access St. John’s Call Centre is available to residents 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by calling 311 or 709-754-CITY (2489) or online at www.stjohns.ca/access-311
