Throughout the summer, the City of St. John’s is hosting events to celebrate our City, our residents, and the diverse cultures of people in our community.

Music @ Harbourside Park

Music @ concerts will resume in-person this summer! In keeping with public health guidelines, concerts will be limited capacity, with pre-registration required. Dates and details will be released early July. In the meantime, a virtual Music @ concert featuring Janet Cull and Brad Jefford is now available on the City’s YouTube channel.

Summer Trail Mix

The City of St. John’s and MusicNL are celebrating and sharing local music through the St. John’s Summer Trail Mix, available at musicnl.ca/trailmix. The St. John’s Summer Trail Mix is also accessible via QR code on signs posted throughout parks and trails.

Downtown Pedestrian Mall

The Downtown Pedestrian Mall officially opens from noon to 10 p.m. daily, starting Friday, July 2 until September 6. The event footprint is on Water Street from Adelaide to Prescott Street, George Street, and on two sections of Duckworth Street from New Gower Street to Bates Hill, and Cathedral to Prescott Street.

The City is partnering with community and non-profit organizations to offer pop-up musical performances, theatrical performances, fun space decorations, giveaways, demonstrations, interactive games, and collaborative art projects at the Pedestrian Mall this summer.
