The City of St. John’s invites residents to celebrate St. John’s Days from June 19-21 with a series of online events and presentations.

Beginning on Friday, June 19, St. John’s Days celebrations kick off with our first ever virtual Music @ Harbourside concert, on the City's YouTube channel beginning at 12:30 p.m.

Other musical performances for the weekend include a Living Room Concert from Tuckamore Festival featuring Duo Concertante on Facebook and a special video presentation from Ritchie Perez and CO-VIDeo Collective at the City’s YouTube channel.

A container gardening virtual workshop is planned for Saturday. Register here to participate.

Saturday evening, the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival hosts a watch party entitled Films Where You’re At, highlighting films written and/or directed by women from across Newfoundland and Labrador. Sunday afternoon, Wonderbolt Circus will host a watch event ideally designed for the whole family.

Every morning, Councillors will read a selection of children’s books from local authors on our YouTube Channel.

And the Mayor’s Contest for Kids, announced June 10, continues until the end of the St. John’s Day weekend.

For the complete listing of St. John’s Days events and to register for workshops and watch parties, check the Events and Festivals page on the City website.
