Thanksgiving Day Holiday City Schedule

Due to the Thanksgiving Day holiday on Monday, Oct. 10 all City offices and facilities, including the Robin Hood Bay Waste Management Facility will be closed. Please note the following:

• Parking meter regulations will not be enforced.
• Access St. John’s front counter service will be closed, however the Access St. John’s call centre is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, by calling 311 or 709-754-CITY (2489) or online. 

There is no waste collection on Thanksgiving Day. For this week only, garbage and recycling collection occurs the day after regular pick up day in all areas – including a Saturday pick up for Area 5. Waste collection returns to the normal fixed schedule beginning Monday, Oct. 17. Sign up for reminders.

• Friday, Oct. 14: garbage Areas 4A/B, recycling Area 4A
• Saturday, Oct. 15: garbage Area 5A/B, recycling Area 5A 

The City of St. John’s Council Meeting regularly scheduled for Monday will take place 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11.
