Tourism Awards Nominations Open

The City of St. John's is seeking nominations for the annual Tourism Awards, to be presented during National Tourism Week May 27 to June 2.

The awards recognize our best in tourism, while also increasing public awareness about the industry as a strong and viable contributor to the St. John’s economy.

The Legend Award recognizes an individual or group who has made a significant contribution to the growth and enhancement of tourism in St. John’s. Other awards include the Sport Tourism Award, Event of the Year Award, Signal Award (cruise), and Discovery Award (innovation).

Residents, organizations and businesses are encouraged to submit nominations. Award criteria and nomination forms are on the City website; the deadline to submit is 4 p.m. Friday, April 13.
